I am new to the CrossFit scene. I was worried it would be intimidating but Redox has made it very welcoming. The coaches are periodically checking in to see if I have any questions or concerns and they also provide motivation. Furthermore, the coaches have a wealth of knowledge on proper body form, nutrition, and physiology.

Redox is great! As a newbie I had a lot of preconceived notions about CrossFit and while some of them proved true - the workouts kicking your butt and being a great way of leveling up with strength, lifting skills, cardio, and agility - I was also surprised by how welcoming and inclusive this gym is. I'm a true believer now, making all of my other outdoor and active pursuits all that much more fun. Thanks, Meg, Sam, and the Redox crew!

I have been an active member at Redox for about 4 years. It's hard to be brief in my review as the classes, the coaches and the members have changed me and my life physically, mentally and nutritionally. I will be 65 in a few months and I feel better, move better, am stronger, more self assured and in the best shape I have been in since about age 33. The coaches have taught me about myself, my body, goal setting, resiliency, and mental strength. Where I need to grow, they have showed me with both honest assessment and the belief I can do better. I feel both challenged and supported. Add to this the fact of a well supplied and maintained gym with consistently high standards of cleanliness. All I can say is thank you to the experience, leadership, vision and commitment to excellence that created and runs this gym.

Fantastic experience. The gym had plenty of room and clean equipment. The coaches helped everyone on an individual level. The hours were flexible. There's different intensity levels to get the best workout in.

I have CrossFitted on and off for over a decade but a few years ago, after moving to Alaska, I accepted the fact that gym costs and past injuries would keep me out of another box indefinitely. I took a couple classes at Redox and immediately fell back in love with CrossFit. The environment is super welcoming and Meg and Erin took the time to learn about my goals and injury issues. I don’t feel guilty about modifying anything anymore, like I’ve felt at other gyms in the past. They really want all their members to have a fun, safe, and effective workout. The gym is clean and programming is great!

Redox, is a great gym: a safe, clean and friendly environment, with coaches that challenge you and will meet you wherever you are in your fitness journey. All the coaches are trustworthy, approachable, and very knowledgable. During my year at this gym I was able to do many things for the first time, and that's given me confidence to challenge myself a little more with each workout! Come give it a try, but most importantly just have fun!!!

After my last physical I asked my doctor who does she recommend for an excercise program and she suggested cross fit and specifically Redox CrossFit as the safest. I reviewed their web site and took the first recommended step and called the owner Meg where she recommended I come in for a two step free introduction to their program. The first step she describes their philosophy and expectations of their clients and wants to hear what your concerns and expectations of them and the second step if you want to go further she does an assessment with some of the equipment in the gym. I was very impressed with these steps and signed up for 3 sessions a week. The actual exercises are well run by Meg and her coaches. They all have a deep understanding of the exercises and how they need to be executed. Occasionally the coaches will have me or another modify the exercise because of my strength level and are always making sure I as well as everyone are doing them properly and safely. Redox is a fun and exciting place to work out. The coaches are fun and very knowledgeable and their clients are all helpful and encouraging as well. Give Meg a call, I am confident you won’t regret it.

I’m new to CrossFit and am really glad I chose this gym. All of the coaches are super knowledgeable and fun and they encourage you to work hard but without sacrificing good form. The folks who work out here run the full range of age and ability and it’s a really welcoming community to be in. The gym itself is big, breezy and clean! I have only winning things to say about this place.

Redox CrossFit is awesome. I joined in September 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. I wanted to feel safe where I was working out, and I was curious about CrossFit in general. The owners and coaching staff take covid protocols seriously which I really appreciate. We wore masks when mandated, and some people continue to do so because it makes them more comfortable. It’s a no-judgement environment. Class sizes are small and everyone has their own 10x10 ft “safety square” to workout in. Also the philosophy behind this specific CrossFit gym is unique. They emphasize form over AMRAP so you avoid injuries. It’s all about functional fitness which is exactly what I was after. Anyways, I love it, you should try it. P.S. The gym’s mascot is what really keeps me coming back, his name is Murph and he’s the cutest German Short Haired Pointer you’ve ever seen. See photos below 🐶

I dropped in here one early morning while in town and loved the place. It's super spacious with tons of quality equipment. Coaching was good, the WOD was fun/challenging with good targets to shoot for, and from what I saw programming-wise, that seems to be the theme every day. The folks made me feel right at home and I'd be happy to drop in again next time I'm in town.
